China attesting services
Our senior partner, Mr. Tse Pang Yuen has been a China-Appointed Attesting Officer since 1995 and has rich experience in handling attesting documentation that are accepted for use in Mainland China, including single status certificate for marriage, inheritance or renunciation of estates, declaration of adoption of children in Mainland China, certificate of company registration, certificate of board of directors resolutions, certificate of letters of authorization by companies, and issuance of opinion letters related to Hong Kong laws.



Civil litigation
Our legal team has substantial experience in handling civil litigations as well as personal and commercial disputes. Our firm also frequently deals with personal injury matters, claims for compensation in traffic incidents, labour disputes, and debts recovery, etc. In relation to family law, our firm will thoroughly consider the individual situation of our clients and offer the most effective resolutions for the best interest of our clients, including petition to court for divorce, application for ancillary relief, application for custody and guardianship of children, application for various protection orders, application for nullity of marriage, and preparation of deed of separation, etc.



Criminal litigation
In relation to criminal litigations, our legal team has abundant experience and knowledge about criminal law and procedures (in particular procedures and case law in relation to Prevention of Bribery Ordinance). The legal services offered by our firm include providing legal advice before and after prosecution, legal visits to police stations and detention centres, bail applications before trial and pending appeals, attendance of hearings for pleas and appeals in all levels of courts, including Magistrates’ Courts, the District Court and the High Court.



Arbitration and mediation
Apart from litigations, our firm also resolves disputes on behalf of our clients through arbitration and mediation, so as to save time and costs. Arbitration is a legal procedure, but its adjudication is made by arbitrators instead of the court. The adjudication of arbitration is generally final, conclusive and legally binding and is enforceable in many other jurisdictions. Mediation is the negotiation between parties facilitated by a neutral mediator. Our legal team will act as impartial mediator and facilitate peaceful and effective dispute resolution between parties through coordination, promotion of active discussion and holding of mediation meetings.

Inheritance and administration of estate
Our firm provides legal services in relation to inheritance of estate, including application to the High Court for Grant of Representation and to administer and distribute the estates on client’s behalf. Only a Grant of Representation can authenticate the right of a designated person to deal with a deceased’s estates. There are two types of Grant of Representation: Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration. Grant of Probate is applicable to the situation where the deceased had left a will (i.e. testate), and is a legal document issued by the Probate Registry to the executor designated in the will. Letter of Administration is applicable to the situation where the deceased had not left a will (i.e. intestate), and is a legal document issued by the Probate Registry to the designated administrator in accordance with the Intestates’ Estates Ordinance.



Estate Planning
Our firm provides legal services concerning estate planning in accordance with the specific needs of clients, including setting up of private trusts and drafting of trust deeds, wills and Enduring Power of Attorneys on behalf of clients, as well as providing thorough legal advice about the content and structure of the relevant documents. Our firm also represents clients in their application to the High Court for Guardianship Order under Mental Health Ordinance.

Marriage solemnization services
