Our senior partner, Mr. Tse Pang Yuen has been a
China-Appointed Attesting Officer since 1995 and has rich experience in
handling attesting documentation that are accepted for use in Mainland
China, including single status certificate for marriage, inheritance or
renunciation of estates, declaration of adoption of children in Mainland
China, certificate of company registration, certificate of board of
directors resolutions, certificate of letters of authorization by
companies, and issuance of opinion letters related to Hong Kong laws.

adjudication is made by arbitrators instead of the court. The

Inheritance and administration of estate
Our firm provides legal services in relation to
inheritance of estate, including application to the High Court for Grant
of Representation and to administer and distribute the estates on
client’s behalf. Only a Grant of Representation can authenticate the
right of a designated person to deal with a deceased’s estates. There
are two types of Grant of Representation: Grant of Probate and Letters
of Administration. Grant of Probate is applicable to the situation where
the deceased had left a will (i.e. testate), and is a legal document
issued by the Probate Registry to the executor designated in the will.
Letter of Administration is applicable to the situation where the
deceased had not left a will (i.e. intestate), and is a legal document
issued by the Probate Registry to the designated administrator in
accordance with the Intestates’ Estates Ordinance. |
